Oil Exploration Development Manager

Bruno Blin has more than 28 of experience in the oil industry.

Bruno Blin began his professional career at Elf/Total working successively as Probe Geologist (Nigeria, Holland-North Sea), Structural Geologist (Elf Research Centre – France), Senior Exploration Geologist (Cameroon), Technical Exploration Advisor (Syria) and Head of the Coordination and Arbitration Division for North Africa (Paris).

After a brief stint in 2005-2006 at Respol in Madrid working in the Quality Control Department for the group’s exploration projects, he joined the Shell International Group as Deputy of the Deep Water Exploration Team Leader (Nigeria) and Regional Geology Team Leader (Libya).

From 2011, Bruno worked for Perenco as Subsurface Manager in Cameroon, and continued in 2015 as Geosciences Manager in Turkey, before joining Assala as Development Manager in Gabon.

Bruno’s technical skills cover both exploration and oil field development. His involvement in multiple projects in several countries has, among other things, allowed him to reinforce his leadership and team management abilities.

Bruno holds a PhD in Geosciences from the University of Western Brittany (France). He also holds a degree in Geological Petroleum Engineering obtained at the IFP School (ENSPM: École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs), Rueil Malmaison.
